Garibaldi - Nickel Mountain, the quest to find Voisey's Bay 2

Now that the black flies, mosquitoes and other nasty biting monsters of the Canadian Arctic have defrosted, some disturbed by the drilling that has been going on for the last 7 weeks at Nickel mountain (link),  but apart from that, we haven't heard anything else.

This would represent a subtle change from last year, when they were rushing out press releases, some just a week after drilling commenced (link and link) telling us about the massive, massive sulfide hits. Why no promo PR's now?

You told us back at the start of June that drilling had commenced with 2 rigs, and by now, assuming they haven't broken down, you should have drilled 3000-3500m* by now.

(*my assumption is based on the drilling rates for drill-hole EL-17-01, where the hole was drilled to a depth of 332m over 8 days (24 Aug 2017 to 1st Sept 217)).

So no news on massive intercepts, I mean, the initial holes were going to focus on defining the Discovery zone and "systematically step out from EL-17-14, testing for nickel-copper-rich magmatic sulphide mineralization to the south where promising conductive targets have been defined by geophysical surveys".

I'm guessing it must have been the timing of the financing......

  1. Who knows, keeping things close to the vest this drilling season. GT Gold as well have been drilling just as long and not a peep. We wait.

  2. Main dopus of GGI will have a difficult time pulling another ore pod from 1966 outta his dopey anus (_*_). 'Discovery' my bloody oath. SprotTards sure can't be dissuaded of VB potential, God bless em.

GT Gold has $6m in flow through dough to blow through this season. (All soft, nada nickle 'hard') They best choose their results carefully too else all these newly rich tax-assisted types will bury each other as they run for the exits.

Both are good candidates to bury blanks as 'not material'. Pfffft.

  3. GGI is looking for another Sudbury...not Voisey Bay 2.0. Can we atleast get those facts straight? Someone not doing their research.

  4. I thought geologists generally spent some time in the outdoors, and had some clue regarding their sister science geography. To call the area around Stewart and the Golden Triangle the Canadian Arctic is just dumb. Perhaps you mean it as hyperbole, but it comes across as being written by someone who's not spent much time in challenging - or what Canadians call normal- conditions.

    2. A P&D and Sprott in for how many 10's of millions??? The $25 million raised from wealthy investors at $3.35 a couple of months ago will prove who is right and who is wrong with the drillbit. I am long small positions in GGI and MTS

      Delete
    3. It was actually $13 million raised a couple of months ago, but indeed the company is relatively flush with cash. They had almost $17 million in cash on April 30 according to their financial statement. This was prior to the May 7 NR on the $13 million.

  10. Too early to assume anything (though I lean towards the obvious small pods from last years drilling continuing to be obvious small pods). Last summer they need to finance so Regoci was sending out breathless press releases - and core pictures. This year they don't need to finance. Not surprising they are more relaxed about getting news out.

  11. And on it goes with tards with FAR MORE money than brains. Very truly this complete and total PoS is a lesson in human greed and stupidity. Can't say a fukkin thing to these uber zillionaire dreamers can one, and doesn't that pretty well sum it up?

Tools and their money will ALWAYS find a taker.

  12. There's no hold-ups in the labs this year. If a company has been drilling since field season opened in Canada and hasn't released any results ... chances are they haven't found anything.

    1. So LAST YEAR these dopes announced the first hole August 27, and gasp, 48 hours later were frothing with vigor. September 01, 2017 they had oh so surprising 'visual results'. Assays? LoL.

THIS YEAR twas June 8th which means 2 solid months and nada whisper, 'visualtard' or otherwise. Blanks a damn good guess I'm thinking as well.

  13. Summer doldrums as names such as GTT and GGI sell off while SIC soars on a 20 million share dilution at 15 cents. Soon SIC will have a market cap equal to GTT before any more assays reported.

    ReplyDelete
  14. how is it that SIC is not getting any attention from the fact that its basically twinning a bunch of holes???? this is not a new discovery in any respect. every drill hole is crossing an old one, have a look at the map https://postimg.cc/image/6wyuw61jb/

  15. Holy snap. Git a load of this ... "The company's first hole, MH-18-01, intersected a mineralized zone that returned 11.9 metres of 44.96 grams per tonne gold."

    ReplyDelete
  16. LOL SIC already has 110 holes into this new "discovery"....ORIENT those holes to cross the known gold zones...sure sure.

    1. And holy Smoly here's the big SprotTard riding into this 'discovery' with fukkin conviction too ...

"a non-brokered private placement consisting of 20 million units at a price of 15 cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $3-million, subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. Each unit will consist of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable into one common share at a price of 25 cents per share for a period of two years from closing. There are three placees: Eric Sprott will subscribe for 13.35 million units, Palisade Global will subscribe for 4.1 million units, and Venture Ad Network"

    2. So here we go again and this is GGI.v deja vu all over again. 'Visual Results' and thereafter Sprott throwing money at the thing. Best picture is the true massive number of holes punctured already. Another SprotTardian 'discovery' all right. Grrrrr Pfffft.

  17. Where are you getting 110 holes into this "discovery"??? SIC sure has not drilled 110 holes. Also the previous explorer vended the property into SIC so still have a % ownership. Man a lot of haters around. SIC has created some excitement in a badly beat up sector. GLTA

    1. Historically 111 holes have been drilled into the Moosehead concession (slide 10 of their latest presentation - point 1).

If you look at slide 9 (the photo) and the long section on slide 11, you can see that there have been several holes drilled into the discovery zone. they appear to have followed up on a 2003 drill-hole.

      language i guess

  18. A nickle BEFORE the 'visual results' and $ .42 now that Sprott Baby is throwing money at it. This is a wicked freakin GGI replay and a body can simply LOOK at a true chitload of historic holes to figure that out.
BoyoTards drilled for 'success' and Sprott was in on it, AGAIN.

  19. Even if we pretend for a moment that SIC becomes the next MOZ...Lets step back and have a look for a minute. MOZ has 3.2 million oz trades at a market cap of $140 million and has done 8 years of drilling. SIC has a $60 million fully diluted market cap...Has one hole that was grade smeared...if we take out the nugget is 10.5 m at 1.45 gt. So where is the remaining upside here? If it hits a buck it would have priced in 8 years worth of drilling already in a period of three weeks. Make any sense? And its 111 holes already drilled on the property from years ago...of course they spin it as "the holes weren't deep enough" "the holes were drilled at the wrong angle". Hopefully angry geologist when he dumps his trading shares in SIC will come out with an article already!

  22. And, drumroll, Sprott baby decides to throw $ 4m at ABN.v. How about this un folks? Eric Sprott has soooooo much money he throws it at EVERY PoS that comes along. Yup, he's soooooo smart, ahuck, duh.

Copper sewering big time, joining Gold. A body might want to pull in the bets early this year. All boats fall with an ebb tide.

"I'd hate to think that some people are selling their shares down here, when we might have one of the greatest ore bodies of all time."

    1. NEVER do I believe a fukkin word from some goofball who feels the need to say "believe me". And how did that concept work for the dopes who got fleeced on Timminco? Pfffft, damn.

BTW Sprott has made about a zillion calls on Ag and Au, all fully incorrect and for years and years.

  25. How come no discussion on PVG's latest results??

    1. If you are soliciting I have this to spew. (Where did AG go to anyways?) Insiders found a reason to unload into last quarter's news and that was when Au was going for $ 1300 or somesuch. Today we have $ 1185. So whatever. Boyos best do it again with a much lower PoG. (As far as DGC.t goes, that $1200+ ASIC ain't exactly attracting scads of bidders.)

  27. there's a new presentation - slide 24 shows the drill intercepts and the extrapolation. small pockets of high(er) grade surrounded by low and moderate. for what would be an underground mine (good luck permitting an open pit there)? at the top of a mountain. with no access infrastructure.

      2. They want you to think that they have something great.
